Watch Danny Brown’s Chilling New Video For ‘Pneumonia’

Don’t get it twisted any other way, Danny Brown’s flow is as sick as ‘Pneumonia’, damn near chilling on the brain and cold as ice. If you haven’t been infected by the furore around his latest album, what the hell are you waiting for? You don’t need a flu jab for this, so don’t be soft, open your mind to it.

Within a few weeks since the release of his hard as nails album ‘Atrocity Exhibition’, Danny Brown dropped a video for the Evian Christ-produced track, directed by Simon Cahn who cuts the emotion to the core – “Pneumonia feels like a surreal nosebleed torture of a track (in all the best ways).”

Watch Brown hanging on chains like a puppet, segueing into clips of him standing infront of a podium intercut with old Reagan era footage, and it’s pretty obvious Brown is saying more than most in his new video for ‘Pneumonia’. If you need to dig into those history books, go back and look at Chuck D’s resounding call that “Rap is black America’s CNN”. It was hip hop’s response to the 80’s Reagan era war on the black community that brought truth to the streets to the real agenda behind the war on drugs. So as the current climate of the US presidential election unravels with headlines in Time Magazine proclaiming total meltdown for Trump, there’s something in the air that still stinks of yet another cold war ahead.

We recommend a dose of ‘Pneumonia’ above and that you sweat it out live when Danny Brown hits the UK for his tour in November.
