‘What If I Go’ With Mura Masa?
While we’ve had a few weeks to bask in the goodness of ‘What If I Go’, Mura Masa’s followed up with a visual for that track that just so quintessentially London.
‘What If I Go’ features a dreary, drab London, lots of North Face puffer jackets and an array of boo’ed up couples, who love bringing the sunshine to the grey streets. Filmed by Yoni Lappin in a square format, with glitchy camera tricks, the video sees couples in complete lovers bliss in and out of the council estate tower blocks and of course quintessential chicken & chip shops.
Bonzai, who lends her vocals to the dreamy electro-pop production and Mura Masa also make the briefest of cameo appearances in the video too. Alongside the video release of ‘What If I Go’, Mura Masa shared AP Sound, a free (yes free) mixtape of Mura Masa musical gems, bootlegs and exclusive demos from himself and the artists signed to his label, Anchor Point.
