‘One girl, Netflix and chill‘ – nah that’s not how WSTRN do things!

Since their debut smash ‘In2‘ there’s been no getting away from that infectiously addictive track of 2015, and WSTRN intend to stay on that winning streak with yet another singalong record and a new video for their track ‘Come Down.’ For all the old school heads, this track isn’t plugging into the 90’s R&B nostalgia but takes it back even further to sample Evelyn King’s 80’s classic groove and house party essential tune ‘Love Come Down’. All fused together with what may just be the makings of that signature WSTRN sound, this will stay in your head.

With cameo’s from Tinie Tempah, Krept and Konan and even our own ‘30 more under 30‘ Morgan Keyz, taking over Example’s house, it’s not just liberties their taking but all the ladies too. “Come Down is all about being at a party and everyone’s welcome and I think the video really reflects that vibe; everyone enjoyed themselves and it felt like a real house party with everyone just having fun!” says Akelle.

WSTRN have nailed the numbers since debuting the single last summer and made their U.K entry into the single charts at no.4, going on to sell over 500,000 copies with ‘In2’ hanging into the charts for 18 weeks weeks, clocking 19 million YouTube views and 35 million Spotify plays

Now locked into the studio, Akelle Charles the singer/songwriter, Haile the musician/producer/singer and Louis Rei rapper/singer/songwriter are getting ready to drop their debut album later in 2016.  With producers from Dallas Austin (TLC), Felix Snow (Kiara), Bless Beats (Jess Glynne) and Tinie Tempah all on board, expect their run to continue long ‘in2’ the foreseeable future.
