You Better ‘Tek Time’ For Hudson East’s New Single

Rapper/R&B artist Hudson East is back with his new single ‘Tek Time’, a follow-up track to his successful debut EP ‘Eastway‘.

Produced by Scoops, Hudson pleads vulnerably for his other half to ‘Tek Time’ in a heartfelt story of a confound relationship; East explained to us the full meaning of the track: “The song is about being in a scenario where one person catches feelings for the other when the situation was only on a ‘friends with benefits’ level – because of this miscommunication they get hurt and go out of their way to talk crazy about each other, when really they should just ‘Tek Time’ and allow all of the bullshit.”

Hudson has confirmed that ‘Tek Time’ is a single for a new project, with further details to be announced soon. As for what we can expect from East in the near future, he says, “You can expect videos, more gigs and the album I’m currently working on. I can’t wait for people to hear the new music!”

The 21-year-old has stayed busy since the release of ‘Eastway’, juggling university with playing shows alongside rising underground rapper Danny Seth and repeatedly having his tracks spun on Radio 1xtra – it’s not too premature to say he’s on the verge of blowing up right now.
