After a historic showdown at his debut Arrival in London earlier in the week hosted by DJ Semtex, Young Thug returned to the U.K to hit the festival circuit at Leeds and Reading to wrap up his European dates.
For his debut festival appearance in the U.K, Young Thug didn’t disappoint the crowds and although it differed from the energy and vitality he brought to his intimate London show, Reading was ready and waiting with anticipation.
Without an official U.K release to speak of and strictly off the power of his mixtapes, no one was a stranger to Young Thug and the crowd knew his music back to front. While the fans needed to be showered with water to cool off, they showering the thugger with screaming and fainting and it was his set that started off security’s run of pulling out fan after fan from the front.
There’s no doubt that this is a major Hip-Hop icon who’s not even reached the peak of his career and there’s no question when he returns to the U.K – the stages, the crowd and the fervour will be even bigger and louder.
