Young Thug Lives The Good Times In ‘F Cancer’
Young Thug has a way to go before he’s in league to compete with those Future numbers, as ‘IM UP‘ is projecting to sell around 15-17,000 numbers in the U.S. But for now Young Thug has his focus firmly on living out those good times with Boosie BadAzz who survived kidney cancer last year.
Donning pink scrubs and a mask as teased in the promo shots for the track, the Be El Be directed ‘F Cancer’ video (above) has Young Thug taking Bossie out of hospital and straight into a party to celebrate with Quavo and co. Spot Lyor Cohen also making an appearance on the tarmac, after the 300 Ent label head managed to convince Young Thug to make ‘IM UP’ an official release and accompanied him on a promotion run in and out of the NYC radio studios of Angie Martinez, Sway and Ebro on Beats 1 last week.
Young Thug’s rarely on interview duties, but with Cohen’s overseeing presence it’s hard to imagine any radio host would be gunning to step on Lyor’s toes to cross the line with Thug.
